I wanted to live a life filled with intention, one where I was no longer controlled by the hatred of my own body and I could feel whole, to give to those in my life and pour from a cup that was not just full, but overflowing!
Once I started to address my health holistically, my mind, body, soul, relationships, finances, etc. life as a whole shifted. I had sustainable energy and a clear mind. My self-concept completely shifted and I was able to show my body an affection I had never given it before. I was able to approach life in a way that filled my cup so much that I was able to effortlessly pour into others.
I realized the power of working through shame, guilt, and trauma to shift the focus from how one looks to how one feels and LIVES. And the importance of getting to the ROOT of the issue, rather than applying yet another bandaid fix.
